What happens when liberal judges say we have no right to bear arms, just to keep them? We get a Supreme Court showdown and that’s what is likely to happen.

The Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals just ruled that the State of Hawaii is allowed to ban any carry of weapons by citizens unless they show “urgency or need” and are engaged in “protection of life or property”. That’s kind of hard to square with “shall not be infringed” from the Constitution.

The conservative majority on the Supreme Court will be able to rely on the D.C. v. Heller ruling which states:

“We find they guarantee the right to possess and carry weapons in case of confrontation”

That’s pretty easy to understand and this should be a good opportunity to show the Leftists that the Constitution means what it says.

I hope they’ll hear it, but with this cowardly SCOUTUS they may not. After all they refused to even listen to any arguments on the validity of the 2020 election. “Wait and see” is for sure right.

Why do we have to ‘fight’ for this Right? Are lawyers getting rich by dangling our Constitution over a crackling fire, with their fingers getting burned? The Constitution is OURS, NOT the government’s. Those people swear oaths to Support and Defend our nation’s charter. It is their responsibility to guard our Civil Rights, not to deprive us of them.

Well said but “We the People” have been complacent when it comes to protecting OUR RIGHTS, while the progressives have been continually on the march. This is a natural disadvantage as conservatives usually mind their own business and want to be left alone so, they don’t become politically active until they have already lost ground. Kris Anne Hall, a brilliant constitutionalist, makes a fine argument the our Constitution is a contract and, therefore can not be altered unilaterally. This is why it can only be changed by amendment. I would go one step further and say the the document is the very foundation upon which our country is built. Now, I may not be a constitutional law professor, like Obama, but I have certainly spent enough time around construction to know what happens when a foundation is eroded(read infringed). Ultimately, the whole structure comes down on your head.

Thanks. I was a sort of liberal during the 1960s, but the realization of that bunch of whiners came during the Vietnam Conflict, when Hanoi Jane was celebrated as a traitor, and our soldiers were being spat upon and disparaged by Americans when they returned from combat. These kids today don’t understand how close America came to a protracted Martial Law, and how our society was tearing itself apart by the ideological seams. From that point, my efforts have been to emphasize U.S. Sovereignty. In conjunction with that agenda, we as Americans must be vigilant to ensure our Bill of Rights are protected and our Constitution is adhered to by our elected and Law Enforcement officials.
