While there are exceptions on the left — notably today’s “Morning Joe” fiasco — many progressive’s are eager to defend Joe Biden’s credible sexual assault allegation. Here are the most egregious examples.
Nancy Pelosi

When questioned by a reporter, Washington’s most senior Democrat snapped by purporting that “I have complete respect for the whole #MeToo movement,” before adding that she didn’t need a “lecture” on the issue.

Despite portraying herself as an unequivocal defender of women’s rights, Rapinoe provided cover to Biden by failing to ask him once about the credible allegations put forth by Tara Reade.
Another technology fail from the Biden campaign.

Reminder: This is the same Alyssa Milano, who looked like she wanted to mount a banzai charge at Justice Brett Kavanaugh over uncorroborated sexual assault allegations.

He’s not the best judge of character. Heilemann is demonstrating that again by claiming the media has done an excellent job reporting on the Biden scandal.
Dishonorable Mention: Kristen Powers

As I point out in my column today, there is no ‘double standard’ in the way Kavanaugh was treated vs. Biden. A few Dems called for immediate withdrawal of nomination, but the prevailing view was that the accusations should be heard and investigated. Same should be done w Reade.

Christine Blasey-Ford had zero corroborators, an inconclusive lie-detector result, and all family and friends who could not corroborate. Blasey-Ford was an IUD planted by Democrats to sabotage an obvious future Supreme Court appointee. And Blasey-Ford was, appropriately, analytically discredited by a professional prosecutor.

You must get your information from MSDNC. There was no one to corroborate her story. All of the people she said were there, all said they either weren’t there or that Bret wasn’t there. No one has ever placed Ford with Bret at any place or time. This is unlike Biden’s fiasco. Not only did she work for him, there are at least 3 people (including her dead mother you was recorded calling in to Larry King and mentioning it), to say she said
it happened back then. BIG difference.
