U.S. Central Command announced yesterday that an October 22 airstrike claimed the lives of seven al Qaeda leaders meeting near Idlib, Syria.

Officials have not publicly identified the targeted leaders of AQ-S or al-Qaeda in Syria.

The Washington Examiner’s Haley Victory Smith reports:

“The removal of these AQ-S leaders will disrupt the terrorist organization’s ability to further plot and carryout global attacks threatening U.S. citizens, our partners, and innocent civilians,” said Central Command spokeswoman Maj. Beth Riordan.

“AQ-S takes advantage of the instability in northwest Syria to establish and maintain safe havens to coordinate terrorist activities,” she added. “With our allies and partners, we will continue to target al-Qaida and other terrorist organizations.”

Another airstrike was conducted near Idlib on Oct. 15.

  1. I came close to being in the Air Force as a pilot. That was in 1972. I think now that I would have been happiest as a WARTHOG pilot.

  2. I guess that it was actually the Obama Biden administration that was responsible for THIS air strike? Sure, right, uh huh, yeah!

    1. Biden would have alerted the terrorists that they were the subject…..just like he had all the Seal Team Six murdered when he identified them, so their helicopter was shot down

  3. Great job ! NOW…when will we start to decimate the Black Lives Matter and IntiFa terrorist groups on our own soil? A couple of years too late already.
