In just three-plus years, President Trump has revitalized U.S. national defense posture after eight years of dangerously weak Obama-Biden policies. He has increased defense spending in critical areas such as desperately needed nuclear forces modernization, advanced weapons, such as hypersonic missiles, and even a new military service focused exclusively on gaining U.S. space dominance – Space Force.

In doing so, Trump has prioritized real military capabilities against real threats over misguided Obama-Biden arms control and wishful thinking. To counter both Russia’s cheating, and the dramatic growth of Chinese missiles unconstrained by treaty, Trump withdrew the U.S. from then Cold War-era Intermediate Nuclear Forces (INF) Treaty with Russia.

This has allowed the U.S. to begin to finally match the dangerously overmatched Chinese missile threat in Asia.

The President has also clearly identified an increasingly expansionist and hostile China as the greatest threat to the U.S., steadily developing a new forceful containment strategy against that existential, global threat. In addition to strong U.S. diplomatic and military movements in the South China Sea, Trump has forged a growing coalition of regional allies such as Australia, India, and Japan to help the U.S. face the Chinese dragon.

Meanwhile, the president has prioritized supporting newer more committed allies in Europe, such as Poland and the Baltic countries, over less than supportive and ‘delinquent’ traditional allies such as Germany.

Part of these new priorities have entailed forward deploying U.S. forces from Germany to these countries to better defend against Russia on the new front lines. Trump has also boosted their air defense and other capabilities, weapons previously blocked by the Obama-Biden administration.

Likewise, Trump has forcefully taken on Revolutionary Iran, dropping the U.S. from the ill-conceived Obama-Biden Iran nuclear deal which only nominally delayed Iran’s nuclear ambitions, but gave the terrorist Iranian regime billions of dollars in sanctions relief and hundreds of millions in plane loads of cash for its Revolutionary Guards Corps and Quds Force.

Significantly, Trump’s decisive, surprise drone strike against Iranian terror mastermind Qassem Soleimani was a masterstroke, severely degrading Iran’s terror strategy in the region. It also vividly reminded the Mullah’s in Tehran that Trump is willing to strike hard and fast when the weak Obama-Biden team was not.

Electing Joe Biden, Kamala Harris, and the increasingly leftist Democrats would not only return the U.S. to Obama-Biden’s disastrous policies, it would go farther, undermining every area of national defense that President Trump has rebuilt.

At a time of a massive Chinese nuclear weapons buildup, and Russian nuclear modernization, Biden-Harris would especially undermine Trump’s vital nuclear forces build up, the key to America’s national deterrence. The Obama-Biden administration “slowed development of a new generation of nuclear weapons, in part because it hoped to reduce the need for such weapons through arms control negotiations,” noted Forbes.

Biden-Harris will do the same, or more.

As Military Times reported, “Democrat Joe Biden leaves little doubt that if elected he would try to scale back President Donald Trump’s buildup in nuclear weapons spending. And although the former vice president has not fully detailed his nuclear priorities, he says he would make the U.S. less reliant on the world’s deadliest weapons.”

Military Times adds that Biden also has embraced a “no first use” policy that simply means not being the first to pull the nuclear trigger. However, longstanding U.S. policy in both Republican and Democrat administrations has been to reserve the option of striking first in case of conventional attack or other threat, arguing that this makes war less likely.

Even Obama never went this far. He considered, but rejected, a shift to “no first use.”

According to Military Times, “James Acton, a nuclear expert at the Carnegie Endowment, says Biden’s instincts on nuclear weapons are more liberal than those of much of the Democratic Party’s defense establishment.”

This Democratic obsession with arms control would also undermine U.S. missile defenses, notes Forbes, adding:

Democrats want to assure the retaliatory capability of nuclear adversaries so that they can pursue the negotiated reduction of offensive arsenals. The latter approach to nuclear security dictates that if homeland defenses work too well, that might trigger an arms race as enemies strive to maintain a robust retaliatory force.

In essence, the dangerously naïve Obama-Biden view is that the U.S. must allow its nuclear armed enemies the ability to destroy the U.S., to help us get arms control somewhere down the road.

Electing Biden would bring back the worst and most dangerous of the Obama-Biden defense and foreign policies, and likely make them even worse, dangerously undermining America’s defense.

    1. RRRRRRRRRRReally RRRRRRRoger? Did you even read the article? Bottom line he / anyone who economically gives advantage to an enemy likke Dumo and Hunt have ALREADY done undermines the US. Either be for the US or ? leave ?!!!

  1. I seen a video or article on tv before Trump was president. It was about how depleted the military was. They was having to take parts off of parked planes to put on the planes they were flying. The soldiers was working 14 to hours a day because they was being over worked. Obama was purposely depleting the military I think. Just like he gave all the money to Iran etc. Who was the Vice President then. It was Joe Biden. They said that was military was as bad as it was before WW 2. They did a fast rebuild on the military in WW2 to fight the Axis forces. Germany, Japan, and Italy.

    1. Under the Communist regime of Obama and Biden the military were running out of missiles and other munitions so much so that we wouldn’t be able to fight a was against multiple enemies. Now no Country wants to mess with us. Trump took out ISIS in 6 months. Amazing no one is getting their heads cut off now are they.

  2. Undermining our defense????? Now why would Democrats want to do that? Because they believe in Neville Chambelain, the sniveling coward of England in the 30’s. Remember the MANY times that terrorists attacked us during Bill Clinton’s time in control. And each time, he promised that he would find them and make them pay. And HE NEVER DID A THING. All words, no actions.

    1. Biden is just such a sniveling, demented coward to let China get the upper hand and maybe have the Middle East compromised again with the help of Iran. We don’t trust the DemocRATS to move the Country forward and promote peace! They just can’t do it because they are too busy waging a war against the American People In all the Media with their lies and deceits!!
