Fox Host Tucker Carlson turned on GOP House Leader Kevin McCarthy on his popular show Tuesday night, accusing him of being a ‘puppet of the Democratic party.’

Fox News host and Daily Caller co-founder Tucker Carlson ripped into House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy on Tuesday over recently released audio recordings of the California Republican criticizing then-President Donald Trump and fellow GOP representatives in the wake of the Jan. 6 Capitol riot.
McCarthy promised members of his leadership team, including House Minority Whip Steve Scalise and then-Conference Chairwoman Liz Cheney, that he would encourage Trump to resign in a Jan. 10 phone call. After the top House Republican denied having the conversation, two New York Times reporters released an audio recording of the conversation. The two reporters released further clips from the call Tuesday revealing that McCarthy and Scalise were deeply concerned with the social media posts and public comments coming from some members of the GOP conference.
Needless to say, Tucker wasn’t happy about McCarthy’s two faced attack on President Trump during the events of January 6th:

“Donald Trump, the sitting president, had already been silenced by those companies. But McCarthy wanted the tech oligarchs to do more, to force disobedient lawmakers off the internet,” Carlson said. “Quote, ‘Can’t they take their Twitter accounts away too?’ Those are the tape-recorded words of Congressman Kevin McCarthy, a man who in private, turns out, sounds like an MSNBC contributor. And yet unless conservatives get their act together right away, Kevin McCarthy or one of the highly liberal allies, like Elise Stefanik, is very likely to be Speaker of the House in January.”
“That would mean you would have a Republican Congress led by a puppet of the Democratic Party,” he continued. “So, you wouldn’t know any of this list unless it was leaked. And you can start to see why the people in charge oppose transparency and fervently support censorship on both sides. Why? The more you know about them, the less satisfied you are likely to become with their leadership.”
McCarthy talks to talk but he don’t walk the walk, and at one time was renting or either sharing an apartment with a Democrat campaign advisor, he’s a rino mole in the GOP, and snake in the grass

Tucker Carlson is increasingly bashing Republicans, be it for the occasionally foolish statement in a leaked, presumably personal telephone call such as made by McCarthy (perhaps just blowing off steam) or with regard to supporting the Ukrainians with as much weaponry as possible. He also appears to favor a relatively isolationist policy in general, although history has repeatedly shown that isolationism is extremely dangerous in the long term.
What makes you think Republicans are any more hawkish on Ukraine than the Democrats? Tucker is one of them, isn’t he?
Pat Buchanan is about as isolationist as they come, and there seems to be some support for him right here in American Action News.
Ironically, Buchanan is sometimes blamed for his third party candidacy for President in 2000 being the downfall of Al Gore in Florida. The placement of his name on the ballot confused many Florida voters into thinking they were voting for Al Gore when they punched their ballots next to Buchanan’s name.
I am a Republican and the SENATE IS JUST AS BAD. They are supporting this horrible Biden bill today. Too many Senate Republicans vote Democratic. I want them out.
