In a series of articles reminiscent of the New York Times’ denial of Stalin’s Ukrainian famine, the mainstream media acquiesced to the Covid-19 narrative churned out by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP). Only after months of smearing President Trump as xenophobic, did CNN’s international security editor “break” leaked documents from China’s Hubei Province, showing the depths of the CCP’s deception at a critical point when coronavirus disease 2019 might have been contained. Laboratories in Wuhan identified Covid-19 as a particularly dangerous pathogen in late December 2019, but they were ordered by the government to stop their research, destroy evidence, and suppress the news. CNN reported those developments on Nov. 30, 2019, ten months after they became common knowledge.
