Love Child Drama
The Daily News reported in 2010 that Toobin, married since 1986, fathered a love child with lawyer and author Casey Greenfield. The two reportedly carried on an affair for years. Eventually, Casey grew disillusioned as it became clear that Toobin wouldn’t leave his wife. Her suspicions about him having several other mistresses grew, too. After initially keeping silent, Greenfield spoke publicly once Toobin allegedly offered her money to have an abortion. He reportedly offered to pay for her to have a child later via a sperm donor.
