Project Veritas’ James O’Keefe has never been convicted of a felony. He’s never done anything that should impede his right to keep and bear arms. Yet, that’s what happened to him.
It all stemmed from the FBI incorrectly labeling O’Keefe a felon in the National Instant Criminal Background Check System.
The hurdle imposed on O’Keefe through gross incompetence, or perhaps more sinister forces, has prompted him to sue the FBI. (Project Veritas)
“The lawsuit is being filed in the Southern District Court of New York seeking an order requiring the FBI to remove him from this list as required by law under 18 U.S.C. § 925A,” said Jered Ede Esq., who is representing O’Keefe.
“Notably, the FBI has not disclosed what information it is relying on to place him on its watch list,” Ede stated in the complaint filed with the court.
In one instance, a store clerk suggested not only was it a violation of the right to bear arms, but it was worthy of a lawsuit.

Class action suits sound great for punishing wrongdoing but if you are trying to recover losses they’re worthless. The only ones who make out financially in any class action is the lawyers. Research any high profile case and you will see what I mean; If the suit is successful the defendant pays millions, the lawyers collect huge fees while the plaintiffs divide the crumbs that are left.

The problem has arisen because the greed and lust for power of the low quality people throughout our government. The Constitution and the Bill of rights that protect us from government overreach are administered by the very same bureaucrats and politicians our Constitution protects us from. Talk about the fox guarding the henhouse. In Mr. O’Keefe’s case bureaucrats with an agenda don’t like him and have the power to thwart him from exercising his Constitutional rights. Mr. O’Keefe isn’t the only American this happens to daily. To compound the problem our courts too often ignore the Constitution as the Supreme Court recently did regarding only “allowing” limited numbers of worshipers attending church services. Too often judges follow an agenda of their own or one that is socially acceptable. Chief Justice John Roberts even changed wording of Obamacare to justify his decision to force Americans to purchase health insurance was constitutional.
I don’t have the answer other than vote for politicians who are outsiders who want to clean house as President Trump is trying to do. The only way this will happen is to pay attention and participate in our election process more than most of us do. At least vote in primaries which I too only began doing in the past 10 years. That is the only lawful way we have the power to get rid of lifetime politicians or a bad ones in your party.

I have said this before,but it “unfortunately” bears repeating..If you (or) “granny” are faced with a life or death issue are you going to “worry” if you grab a perps illegal weapon and kill the sob…Or, your relative has a totally legal weapon available but he/she has been disabled and you use it to dispatch the “perp” you will be found in violation of the law. THAT IS A FACT ! How do I know this ? My mother went through that scenario. She was NOT a criminal BEFORE the incident ,But the morons put her through hell for three years in court (democrats all). She ultimately prevailed at no small cost to her mental AND monetary well being.My personal feeling is,if ANYONE is confronted with a do or die situation you should (regardless of liberal “law”) be allowed to use lethal force to save your own life !

President Trump should also issue a full pardon to O’Keefe while demanding a full investigation of and punishment for, those bureaucrats who denied his Second Amendment rights under color of law.

In the lawsuit O’Keefe should ask for the FBI to purchase for him one of each of the most expensive handguns, rifles, and shotguns for personal defense available along with 10,000 rounds of ammo for each.
