What they are not saying is according to Federal Law one can not purchase from a FFL without a background check. So the statement that one can carry without a check is partially false. One could purchase from a private seller without a check but they would be responsible if the buyer can not legally own or carry.
Not true. Seller can not be held responsible. Seller not even required to ask buyers name.
Actually if you want to split hairs the 2nd IS your permit and ANY state or federal “law” that says otherwise is null and void… That too is in the constitution… It’s called the supremacy clause… Look it up…

Though I’ve shot a few guns, I’m not a Pro-Gun American. I’ve never owned any weapons, nor would I buy one. I do take exception to our government exceeding their authority to disarm Americans on the premise that they’ll prevent gun deaths, particularly mass shootings, which have (fortuitously…) occurred during democratic majority election cycles. The operative term here is deaths. How many people are killed each year by guns. When those statistics are compared to other demises suffered by the gentry, they’re diminutive. Vehicle accidents have accounted for hundreds of thousands of people dying. But we’re not seeing ’emergency’ legislation being pushed through congress to take our cars away. Wars cause deaths, yet our leaders don’t consider that when they deploy our troops to decimate a foreign country. (Maybe we could push our own ‘Emergency Legislation’ to stop wars.) Suicides far exceed gun deaths, and disease is the most pertinent factor for people kicking the bucket. Democrats like numbers, and they’ll emphasize their Anti-2nd Amendment campaigns with justifications based upon statistics. If the sordid history of the Clinton Era is any indication (Their ‘body count’ was considerable…) Congress should outlaw them.

I am not for gun control at all > I have my BS and MS in Criminal Justice, been a cop and even went through some special training. Guns laws make criminals bolder and give these criminals more power.
The real reason for the 2nd amendment and owning guns and knowing how to safely use them and being practiced in these weapons, is to prevent an over reaching government like we are seeing in the US today. FACT: ever dictatorship has out lawed private citizens from having guns. EVERYONE and doesn’t matter if thaat dictatorship is considered left or right because when you got a dictator it doesnt’ matter which side of the fence they are on. Americans can be made to believe anything, because the media is enjoined with the government to arrange the dismantling of our Bill of Rights. (So-called ‘Conservative’ congressional representatives are also part of the picture.) This same collaboration occurred in Russia, and those people suffered untold hardships and tyranny when their leadership was free to implement the Bolshevik Regime. I live in NC and I Have a carry permit. I believe everyone should learn to shoot and have a permit. This world is dangerous. We need to protect ourselves especially females. All should fight for this right.

Watch the misdirection: Why is the Giffords Center only concerned with death by firearm? A death by murder without a firearm is a death. What the Gifford Center won’t ever do is compare ‘gun violence deaths’ against the murder rate! People without firearms murder just as well without firearms. When Australia took most guns in 1996, the murder rate from before the gun ban compared to after the gun ban didn’t change much, so it’s not about “if it saves one life” at all. People will murder and kill themselves whether they have firearms or not.

I’m not sure about this article reason being is that now there are almost 20 states with ‘Constitutional Carry’ means of you are of age and are not debarred from possession and carrying of a firearm you are permitted without a government license. I probably would not trust the Giffords center as far as I could throw them. One last thing no state permits any individual who is debarred from possession of a firearm to either possess or carry a firearm and purchasing a firearm in any/every state from a firearms dealer or from a dealer at a gun show requires a (federal) background check. One last lie of the left yes I can actually order a firearm on line HOWEVER the firearm is shipped to a licensed firearms dealer where I must go in person to complete the transaction part of which I must pass the background check prior to the firearm being transferred to me (one note federal law on background checks say the check must be complete within 3 days and if not for some reason the firearms dealer can complete the transaction)

What this actually means is that all who belong to this association have either never read the Constitution or are ignorant of the meaning of “infringed”. You can not pass laws that infringe in any way the RIGHT to gun ownership. Yes, I know that this makes virtually every gun law unconstitutional if this right is infringed in any way making virtually every gun control law in the country unconstitutional. The Constitution IS the Supreme Law of the Country and the Bill of Rights were added to the Constitution to clarify that the first ten ammendments were needed to clarify that the RIGHT contained in these ammendments are considered to unalienable. In plain language, these rights were never to be touched.
