Feeling the heat from increased scrutiny over an allegation of sexual assault, former Vice President Joe Biden requested that the Secretary of the Senate, Julie Adams, have her office search for a supposed complaint made by the woman accusing him.

Adams responded promptly but not with the answer Biden expected.

Fox News’ Chad Pergram and Tyler Olson report:

In a statement, Julie Adams said their legal counsel has reviewed the relevant statute governing such records and advised that “the Secretary has no discretion to disclose any such information as requested in Vice President Biden’s letter of May 1.

The statement cited the law’s confidentiality requirements and past Senate guidance.

“Based on the law’s strict confidentiality requirements (Section 313) and the Senate’s own direction that disclosure of Senate Records is not authorized if prohibited by law (Senate Resolution 474, 96th Congress, Section 3(a)), Senate Legal Counsel advises that the Secretary has no discretion to disclose any such information as requested in Vice President Biden’s letter of May 1,” Adams said.

This comes after Biden on Friday called on the secretary to essentially resolve confusion over where personnel complaints from the 1990s would be held, after demanding hours earlier that any complaint from former staffer Tara Reade be located and released.

  1. Reade is not the only one who confronts Biden with his sexual abuse proclivity, so is one who was 14 at the time Biden made disgusting remarks on her anatomy that only Biden does ‘disgusting’ the best. – and all the videos showing Biden not asking permission to smell female’s hair nor what amounts to molestation for a feel with him and his hands all over youngsters with their parents there – especially the one with Coons taking a step toward Biden with murder in his eye and Biden suddenly releasing Coons’ little girl.

  2. ” Senate Legal Counsel advises that the Secretary has no discretion to disclose any such information as requested in Vice President Biden’s letter of May 1,” Adams said.”

Is this an example of lawyer double talk?
To me this says the Secretary cannot decide whether or not to do something and if , in this case Biden, wants info released it has to be released, the Sec. cannot counter what the person, Biden, asks for and has to release the results of the request.
