Five Governors Who Forced Long-Term Care Facilities to Take COVID-19 Patients

A staggering death toll!

Coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) has cost the lives of at least 154,333 Americans.

We know the disease caused by this coronavirus is far more dangerous for the elderly. Statistics show that deaths in the United States have disproportionately taken place in long-term care facilities. While only 0.6% of Americans live in such complexes, over 45% of coronavirus deaths nationwide have occurred inside their walls.

That comes out to over 70,000 deaths!

The following Democrat governors forced facilities like nursing homes to accept residents who contracted COVID-19 — despite having no way of knowing if they had fully recovered.

Andrew Cuomo (D-NY)

The New York State Department of Health, under Cuomo’s supervision, issued a directive on March 25 to nursing home administrators and hospital discharge planners, ordering them to expedite the admission of residents following their hospital discharge.

The advisory stated:

No resident shall be denied re-admission or admission to the [nursing home] solely based on a confirmed or suspected diagnosis of COVID-19.

The New York Department of Health has since purged the document from its website, but a screenshot is available online.

New York’s long-term care facilities have recorded 6,588 confirmed and suspected COVID-19 deaths or 20% of the state’s death toll.

Gavin Newsom (D-CA)

Gavin Newsom seems to love meddling in the private lives of his citizens. After issuing one of the strictest shelter-in-place orders in the country, his office released a list of outdoor activities that were still permissible, including watching the sunset and playing catch.

Less reported was a memorandum dictating that long-term care facilities must readmit residents with suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19.

California’s long-term care facilities have recorded 2,775 COVID-19 deaths, approximately 30% of the Golden State’s death toll thus far.

Tom Wolf (D-PA)

The Pennsylvania Department of Health issued instructions for nursing facilities during the pandemic on March 18.

Like other states, visitations were suspended indefinitely, excluding end-of-life situations.

However, the memo also stated that nursing care facilities must accept both new admissions and re-admissions for current residents who contracted COVID-19 to relieve the burden on hospital ICUs.

Pennsylvania’s long-term care facilities have recorded 4,708 COVID-19 deaths — 65% of the state’s death toll.

Phil Murphy (D-NJ)

A similar memorandum from the New Jersey Department of Health went out to long-term care facilities demanding compliance with the following instructions:

No patient/resident shall be denied re-admission or admission to the post-acute care setting solely based on a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19. Persons under investigation for COVID-19 who have undergone testing in the hospital shall not be discharged until results are available. Post-acute care facilities are prohibited from requiring a hospitalized patient/resident who is determined medical stable to be tested for COVID-19 prior to admission or re-admission.

New Jersey’s long-term care facilities have recorded 6,608 COVID-19 deaths. Roughly 42% of all New Jerseyans who succumbed to the coronavirus so far have resided in nursing homes and related facilities.

I hope so but doubt it and doesn’t compare to abortion taking 60+ million lives.

Stop talking like they made a mistake. At probably $50,000 or more per year, they got rid of a huge expense. Same thing Obamacare set out to do. Never let a crisis go to waste. Trying to get the numbers high to hurt Trump is just an added bonus to the,

That’s $50k per person on Medicaid. New York and New Jersey are probably a lot higher. Do the math, that’s a lot of votes they can buy with that windfall. $3.5 billion + per year. Add to that all the people they literally killed in NY hospitals for $30,000 a patient plus they’re yearly welfare and Medicare expense that a lot of them had since the bad hospitals were in the lowest income neighborhoods

Just had a thought. That is 150,000 votes that they would have had by the hands of those who control those nursing homes. Oh, that is right. They will still have them.

They also got rid of an entire population of senior voters who would have voted for Trump.

This is just another form of eugenics that Progressives promote for population control. In reality, this was biological warfare on states elderly citizens. These governors are all guilty of manslaughter, at the least. Some consider them to be murderers.

And yet every Governor on that list (and some who aren’t) are blaming President Trump. As if he had the power to force those Residencial Care Facilities to take back patients! I am fortunate my father was in a facility that was in a Republican Controlled State, and it was a VERY good (expensive) facility! But they shut down early. People were not allowed in after beginning of March. And if a resident was positive they were to be immediately taken to a hospital. And caregivers who tested positive were not allowed back in. Not one resident contracted Covid 19.

I find it interesting and ALARMING that they have included “suspected” deaths from Covid 19. This is proof to me that they have massively inflated the numbers of deaths in order to increase the panic caused by their PROPAGANDA.
This is similar to the “facts” from the Health Dept in Texas where the state agency claimed ONE county had 33 deaths where the county itself only reported 22 deaths. So what is going on? I will tell you. Massive push to continue the shutdown and cause the economy to stagnate in order to HURT TRUMP.

With the exception of New York, these numbers are on the same level as FLU DEATHS. In fact, a friend of mine who used to head up a CCU stated that corona is just a cold on steroids. Now in the history of our nation, not even the worst flu outbreak warranted a LOCK DOWN as the Democrats and RINOs have done. So why did they do it now???? Only one possible reason. Designed to destroy our economy. AND THEY HAVE DONE THAT.

Too many in positions of prevention and treatment knowingly participated in fraudulent prevention and treatment, many just to keep their job. Refusing to do your best to save a life with no risk of injury or death to yourself is aiding and abetting a desired death of that life.

This meets the ideology of the Dems. KILL ANYONE WHO IS NOT ABLE TO PRODUCE, PAY ANYONE WHO IS ABLE BUT WILL NOT PRODUCE.
I say that each of these states need to be looked at specifically to find out if ANY mention that ALF patients would die in inordinate numbers of this was done.
If the argument was made then I believe that there is evidence of murder by decree.
Time for arrests federally and arrests for CONSPIRACY as well.

This fits with the left’s support of euthanasia. They can’t ‘put down’ the nonproductive elderly, so they found another way to reduce the surplus population. These people are the true deplorables.

I am a California resident living in a senior citizen village. The corona virus has just hit here, putting all of us, a very large village of 500 residents, at great risk. If I should die due to this cause (and I’m in great physical and mental health as of this date, with a genetic projection of life to age 99), I want to make sure that the governors who are literally killing citizens are held directly responsible for my death.

Every one of them should be prosecuted for premeditated murder. I believe they absolutely knew what they were doing and that it would cause numerous deaths at these facilities. What a surprise — a D in front of all their names — what a bunch of feces eating dirtbags.

Tom Wolfe, Democrat governor of Pennsylvania, is just one more, ‘rotten to the roots’, narcissist Marxist shill. His appointed Secretary of Health and Human Services is one FUGLY he/she/it Transgender POS. She ordered Cov19 infected Pennsylvanians into all Geriatric Care facilities and Nursing Homes … AND IMMEDIATELY TOOK HER/HIS/ITS MOTHER OUT OF ONE OF THESE FACILITIES AND MOVED HER TO A SAFE PLACE. ‘EVIL INCARNATE!’
