Kevin McCarthy has served as the Minority Leader of the United States House of Representatives since 2019. As member of the Republican Party, he has represented California’s 23rd congressional district in the House since 2007. Prior to serving in Congress, McCarthy worked as a small business owner and a member of the California State Assembly.

McCarthy is a weak and ineffective lamebrain who rolls over on important issues and has zero plan should he be elected as Speaker. Personally I don’t think he knows very much about oparlementart procedure. I hope he doesn’t get the gig.
If concessions are agreed upon, those making the demands must support McCarthy. Our nation is vulnerable, entering a dangerous period.
