A new bill that is now making its way through the California legislature is set to allow targets of state recalls to be able to see the names of individuals who have signed a petition against them.
Although the bill theoretically wouldn’t apply to the upcoming potentially recall of Gavin Newsom, proponents of the recall against Newsom came to the California capital of Sacramento to oppose passage of the bill citing the threat to future recall efforts it poses, citing the fact that the new legislation would be easily abused if passed and potentially used to intimidate future recall signatories.

Earlier this week, a bill that would allow California politicians facing recall petitions to see the signers cleared its first committee.
According to KTLA, the bill would take effect next year if passed, so it would not apply to the current recall election of Democrat Governor Gavin Newsom, but leaders of the Newsom recall came to the Capitol in Sacramento to oppose the bill, for the simple reason that it would be easily abused and discourage anyone from signing petitions in the future due to fear of retaliation.
However, the bill’s author, State Senator Josh Newman, defended the bill, saying that it would help make sure that voters would not be duped into signing petitions that they did not mean to.
At a public hearing before the Senate Elections Committee, Newman said that “[I]t is a fundamental tenet of the American justice system that the accused should always have the right to face his or her accusers.”

The most sacred right an American citizen has is to vote in elections. The democrats oppose voter ID laws, let anyone vote as open as they like, living or dead!! But they are in favor of knowing voted against them in a recall…… sounds pretty Democratic to me!!

The signing of a petition and voting is a private action. The voters in California need to join together and inform their representatives and senators that they WILL be voted out of office if they pass such a law. Rise up voters of California, take back your state from the communists.
