DISINFORMATION ALERT — Deliberately ignored by the establishment media — handwritten notes by former CIA Director, John Brennan, and a CIA investigative referral to FBI Director James Comey and fired FBI official Peter Strzok, declassified in October by the Director of National Intelligence (DNI), show that the CIA was concerned that the Russians knew of Hillary Clinton’s anti-Trump collusion smear operation.
Not only that but the CIA assessed that the Russians were “potentially manipulating Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s plans to smear Donald Trump as a Russian agent,” notes The Federalist.
CIA officials were so concerned that they personally briefed President Barack Obama in 2016 and requested that the FBI investigate Russian involvement in Clinton’s “Russia-collusion” smear campaign against Donald Trump.
Worse still, notes Sean Davis, co-founder of The Federalist, CIA Director Brennan clearly knew that the effort to tar Trump with the Russia collusion myth was hatched by the Hillary campaign. As Brennan’s notes from a White House meeting show:
We’re getting additional insight into Russian activities from [REDACTED]. Cite alleged approval by Hillary Clinton–on 26 July–of a proposal from one of her foreign policy advisers to villify [sic] Donald Trump by stirring up a scandal claiming interference by the Russian security services.
Adding to that damning evidence, the CIA’s referral to the FBI to investigate the Russian intervention in the Clinton campaign’s smear, states that Clinton’s motive for the smear campaign against Trump was primarily to deflect attention from her own private email scandal. The CIA memo says:
Per FBI verbal request, CIA provides the below examples of information the CROSSFIRE HURRICANE fusion cell has gleaned to date. An exchange [REDACTED] discussing US presidential candidate Hillary Clinton’s approval of a plan concerning US presidential candidate Donald Trump and Russian hackers hampering US elections as a means of distracting the public from her use of a private email server.
Despite the CIA concerns, and investigative referral to the FBI notes The Federalist: “Not only did the FBI refuse to investigate whether the Russians were using the Clinton campaign to interfere in the 2016 national election, but Comey also claimed…that he knew nothing whatsoever about the CIA investigative referral.”
Rather than act as they had when they launched a counterintelligence investigation of the Trump campaign on far less, notes Davis, Strzok and Comey refused to initiate an investigation into the far more likely danger that this entire Trump-Russia collusion narrative was a partisan smear campaign manipulated by Russian intelligence.
As the pieces continue to fall into place, it is ever clearer how absolutely bamboozled the media, and the American people, were by Team Hillary and Russian intelligence. Hillary was the one being used by Russian intelligence, not Trump.

Mueller’s investigation cost should be part of the restitution. It’s time to finalize the process with a solution to the problem. Americans must have confidence in their government.
