Two liberal activists, one a former Democrat Party organizer, were arrested by federal agents and charged with terrorism for attempting to derail trains, the latest in a series of liberals arrested for domestic terrorism.
“Samantha Frances Brooks, 27, and Ellen Brennan Reiche, 23, both of Bellingham, Washington, were arrested in Bellingham as they allegedly placed a ‘shunt’ on the tracks. A shunt disrupts the low-level electrical current on the tracks and can disable various safety features,” the U.S. Justice Department announced in a release.
Both are liberal activists and Reiche was previously a state Democrat Party organizer.

“Reiche, who identifies as ‘non-binary’ and uses ‘they/them’ pronouns, was the deputy field organizer for Washington State Democrats, according to their now-deleted LinkedIn profile,” The Post Millennial reports.
“Additionally, Reiche is a radical queer and environmental activist who co-founded the Bellingham Lesbian Collective. They are a co-host on ‘The L World’ lesbian-themed podcast,” The Post Millennial reports.
The pair were arrested by a Whatcom County, Washington sheriff’s deputy, who caught them with gloves, a drill, and a spool of copper wire matching the wire used in 41 other terrorist attacks on local railroads.
Reiche claimed they were walking along the tracks at night “looking for keys.” They were driving a car with a sticker of the United States map with the words “INDIGENOUS LAND” over it.
The Justice Department reports:
According to the criminal complaint, the FBI’s Joint Terrorism Task Force has been investigating the placement of shunts on the BNSF tracks since January 19, 2020. The shunt is comprised of wire and magnets that are stretched between the tracks, disrupting the systems that indicate a train is on the tracks. On ten occasions, shunts were placed in areas that disrupt the crossing guards where the tracks cross streets, so vehicles could have tried to cross the tracks unaware of the oncoming train. On the night of October 11, 2020, multiple shunts were placed in three different locations in Whatcom and Skagit Counties. The shunts triggered an automatic braking system on a train that was transporting hazardous and combustible material. The emergency braking then caused a portion of the train to decouple from the engine. Decoupling has the potential to cause a derailment—in this case—of tanker cars of flammable gas in a residential area.
The arrest comes after an Antifa group calling itself “It’s Going Down” claimed credit for a series of terrorist sabotage attacks on railroads in the Pacific Northwest.
The group vowed to carry out terrorist attacks in order to stop the construction of gas pipelines and drive out the state’s non-Native American residents, even though the group appears to be almost entirely white and wealthy.
The pair face a Dec. 14 court hearing before going to trial. If convicted of committing a terrorist attack on a railroad facility each faces up to 20 years in prison.

The first thing a smart President should do is replace the top four or five managers of each Government Agency, such as the DOE, DOT, HEW, DEA, CIA, FBI, IRS, DOJ, and the FCC to name a few. The Department of Education could insist on teaching Patriotism, and the strong belief in God and Country.
