A Russian diplomat to the United Nations in Geneva bashed the war against Ukraine as he resigned, a shocking sign of Russians’ growing discontent with the invasion.

“For twenty years of my diplomatic career I have seen different turns of our foreign policy, but never have I been so ashamed of my country as on February 24 of this year,” Bondarev wrote in a letter addressed to his colleagues.
“The aggressive war unleashed by Putin against Ukraine, and in fact against the entire Western world, is not only a crime against the Ukrainian people, but also, perhaps, the most serious crime against the people of Russia, with a bold letter Z crossing out all hopes and prospects for a prosperous free society in our country,” the letter continued.
“Those who conceived this war want only one thing — to remain in power forever, live in pompous tasteless palaces, sail on yachts comparable in tonnage and cost to the entire Russian Navy, enjoying unlimited power and complete impunity,” he charged. “To achieve that they are willing to sacrifice as many lives as it takes. Thousands of Russians and Ukrainians have already died just for this.”
Bondarev also targeted the Russian Foreign Ministry in this resignation letter.
“Minister Lavrov is a good illustration of the degradation of this system,” Bondarev said of Sergei Lavrov, the Foreign Minister of Russia. “In 18 years, he went from a professional and educated intellectual, whom many my colleagues held in such high esteem. to a person who constantly broadcasts conflicting statements and threatens the world (that is, Russia too) with nuclear weapons!”
“Today, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs is not about diplomacy,” Bondarev concluded. “It is all about warmongering, lies and hatred.
“Bondarev” said it exactly right! GREED is the determining factor in many minds in and outside of Russia. The Clinton’s Foundation serves them quite well, while making people think they care about the needs of ordinary people. The love of money is truly the root of all evil and that has never changed. Christ had more warnings to those who have need of nothing and are complacent in their own little world of self-satisfaction and self-interest [greed].

Won’t be too many more after they see what will happen to this man. Putin will have him publicly humiliated, call him a traitor and have him executed! That will shut the rest of them up! It is how they keep the masses in line!

I wish there were more like him in our leadership throughout the current Administration here in the US. In fact in all of politics. For the most part today it’s all about power and money. Many if not most in big named positions throughout all of the world of business and Government just don’t care about the people. Our Forefathers in their quest to create the right Constitution realized it’s about the people and that’s what our Constitution is all about. Sadly our leaders don’t quite see it that way anymore. Hopefully Russia will wake up and see the error of their ways.
