The President of Haiti was brutally gunned down during an overnight attack on his home.

As Fox News reports:

Haitian President Jovenel Moïse was assassinated overnight at his private home, according to a top government official who called the attack an “inhumane and barbaric act.”

In a statement released by interim Prime Minister Claude Joseph, who will take over as interim president, Moïse was killed by an unidentified group. Some of the attackers were described as Spanish-speaking.

The first lady also suffered bullet wounds during the attack and has been hospitalized.

Moïse, 53, assumed his presidency back in February 2017 following the resignation of his predecessor, Michel Martelly. Earlier this year, Haitian citizens and opposition leaders called for Moïse’s resignation.

Moise reign saw Haiti fall further into chaos with rampant organized crime, extreme poverty, and delayed or scuttled elections becoming the norm.

Haiti received billions of funding from foreign NGO’s in the aftermath of the devastating 2010 earthquake, including from organizations like the Clinton foundation.

  1. “fall further into choas with rampant organized crime, extreme poverty, and delayed or scuttled elections becoming the norm”….hmmm….sound familiar….could we be going the way of Haiti….?

      1. It’s the “yet” that has me worried….if not “yet”…..then when….better be soon or we’ll be at the point of no return….I’m trying to keep the faith but it’s getting harder….

  2. All that money and no oversight, same old story, same old result for Haiti. The Biden Administration (whoever that consists of?) are no doubt going to offer asylum to all Haitian residents immediately and will begin a naval flotilla to bring them all to the US for instant citizenship or the alternative will be to make them the 51st state, and since they share Hispaniola with Dominican Republic, they will be the 52nd state, whether they want it or not!

    1. I will wait to hear you say” I told you so”. We don’t send missionaries there now as they have become targets of those kidnappers and snatchers.

  3. The dude must have been doing the same shit as Joe Biden and someone had had enough of freak

  4. Haitian has been a cesspool for decades. No one has ever done anything real good for the country. It could become a paradise island if the right person were elected. Sounds like a job for Donald J Trump.

  5. Equality and equal outcome? Haiti has been consistently plagued by dictatorships. Hint: some nationalities and some ethnicities, whether by nature or nurture, are not equipped or geared to understand or embrace democracy. Take it or leave it.

  6. Sounds like he was doing the same things that COMMIE Joe is doing… Maybe COMMIE Joe should keep his head down…
