The hospitals are now so under staffed they are having difficulty remaining open. I have been a rebel as long as I can remember (age 3) and believe that each individual has the right to choose for himself how he will live his life and what he feels his right are as long as it doesn’t interfere with another person’s same rights. I believe that’s where common sense and justice enters into the equation. We try to and encourage treating animals humanely. Shouldn’t we be humane towards our fellow human beings, even if causes us some discomfort and inconvenience? Aren’t our well-being and safety as important as the animals we are trying to help? The elderly and children are the ones who are suffering and dying because some believe that the Covid-19 vaccine will harm them (although there is little evidence) or they will be denied their free agency. Aren’t they denying the elderly and children their free agency to go on living or living without the consequences of Covid-19?
We all are supposedly human beings, let’s treat each other humanely and be considerate of their rights also.

Can’t say I blame them…Businesses are there to make Money and employee reliability is a huge part of their protocol…I’m from the Boomer Generation and was vaccinated for any and everything you can imagine…It was part of life back then and was done to help us retain our health…Seems to have worked for me as at 75 I’m still climbing trees and doing whatever’s necessary to maintain my home…The only time I got lazy and didn’t get vaccinated for Flu I got away with it for several years and then I caught it…For about a week and a half I handled it pretty well and wondered what all those pussies were complaining about…….Then the Sore Throat came, I couldn’t even stand to swallow my own saliva never mind take an aspirin, and it lasted over a week….Needless to say, Flu Vax is on my schedule every year now and Covid Vax will be also if it is deemed necessary….. I’m hoping these companies pay dearly, both financially and otherwise, for these irresponsible decisions. A virus that has a 99% survival rate doesn’t even warrant a vaccine when it has readily available and inexpensive treatments let alone take these draconian measure in pretense of saving lives.
