June 19th, 1865, the day the last enslaved people in Galveston, Texas were freed from the brutality of southern slavery is a day worth remembering.

It’s not the day slavery was abolished in the United States, but it’s the day that the reality of its end fully came to fruition.

What makes it important is that it focuses on where concept meets reality. It also marks a vital step towards the fulfillment of our founders’ promise: that all men would live freely and pursue goodness, truth, and joy according to their own responsibility and will.

The holiday itself may be worthy, but the way the White House has framed it is anything but.

Biden used it to feed animosity over new voter ID laws with racist claims that being Black somehow makes you challenged in getting an ID.

He also brought in Dr. Greg Carr, head of African American Studies at Howard University to the bill signing as a witness.

Carr said this: “Juneteenth has never been about celebration only, it’s celebration paired with protest… if we don’t do the protesting and the demanding, then we’re not celebrating Juneteenth.”

So what are they demanding? Well, he tells us:

“Are y’all ready for everybody to be equal?”

The founders did say that all men are created equal and endowed by their creator with certain inalienable rights, but this isn’t about equal protection under the law, that has already been achieved. They’re demanding a different kind of “equality.”

Literal equality. As in equality of outcome.

Carr uses the same terms made popular in 1967 by Communist Stokley Carmichael who led a nationwide movement with the primary stated purpose of spreading communism.

Institutional racism, as Carmichael defines it, quite literally requires communism in order to be solved. It’s the same definition that Carr uses along with our very own Commander in Chief.

Celebrating Juneteenth is in keeping with our founding tradition, but not in the way that Joe Biden, Greg Carr, or Stokley Carmichael would have you see it. Instead of reigniting the dying flames of racial animus and hastening the slow-spreading poison of communism to infect every healthy limb until the whole body is corrupted, we should focus on what we’ve achieved as a nation in ending slavery, in ending segregation, and in moving towards a world where we judge one another by commitments kept, by the generosity shown, and by each achievement that paves the horizon of a brighter future for all.

  1. The left is enslaved, they’re enslaved to a false and warped ideology that they’ve been indoctrinated to believe like good little commies. And like someone who’s lived enslaved, they don’t really know how to think for themselves. Just do what the masters of their delusional universe tell them to do!

    1. The word sounds like something out of the hood They should acknowledge the exact date. But that requires intelligence

  2. ALL JOBAMA BIDEN DID BY MAKING “JUNETEENTH” A BLACK HOLIDAY IS TO GET MORE BLACK VOTES, BY DOING THIS, THE JERK CREATED MORE DIVISION. WHAT A JOKE THE BLACK HAVE BECOME, ALL THE YEARS THEY WANTED “DESEGRAGATION”, NOW THEY WANT THE OPPOSITE? THESE PEOPLE ARE KILLING AMERICA. ALL THE “ZANY” TERRORIST GROUPS THEY HAVE FORMED SHOULD BE ABOLISHED.

  3. when did usofa “atone”, let alone for colored only? if BLK weren’t on every surface imaginable (racist acronym itself). if you understand the depth of the widening south border problem and all its cost the rest of the usa. “woke” as a description? to many, it now has a double meaning. figuratively living &/or double standards, CRT overly creative(they noted to be dangerous at times?) or STEAM calm thinking, revenge porn/hate postings, cyberpunked, hate pranked . there will always be inequality somewhere in an overburdened world and the living things on it wear-out. as all know-where’s the financing and energetic productive humans for anything? will GOD Creator sink all landmass for a few thousand years again and then well, don’t precisely know???

  4. Juneteenth?? Wtf This is not a holiday, it’s yet another tool to divide races and try to make white people feel like we owe everyone that is not white something. I had no control of what color I was born, nor does anybody. It is what is in your heart and how you treat others that you should be judged, not what color you happened to be born. God does not grant people into heaven based on their skin color, he made us the color we are. He allows people into heaven for their deeds, their hearts, and our belief in him. If only life on earth was like this❤
