House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) was pressed Sunday over whether or not Rep. John Conyers (D-Mich.) should resign as more allegations of sexual misconduct mount against him. As the leading Democratic woman in Congress, Pelosi has been overwhelmingly supportive of women who say they are victims of sexual harassment. That, after all, is the default position for feminist liberals: to always believe a woman who says they are a victim of sexual abuse. But Pelosi didn’t quite follow that rule on “Meet the Press” Sunday.
NBC anchor Chuck Todd pressed Pelosi: “You said there’s now zero tolerance. John Conyers. What does that mean for him? Right now — in or out?”
