Donald Trump took to twitter to take potshots at Jeb Bush, the candidate who is singlehandedly proving that money doesn’t buy elections:
Donald Trump took aim Saturday at a tried and true target: Jeb Bush.
The real estate developer evidently woke up annoyed at Bush’s investment in ads bashing Trump.
“[email protected] is a sad case. A total embarrassment to both himself and his family,” Trump tweeted out to his followers just before 7 a.m. “He just announced he will continue to spend on Trump hit ads!”
It’s interesting to see Trump punching so far down. Jeb’s resources are vast, but his polling numbers make him unlikely to be a threat to the Donald, and they’re not getting better. Maybe Trump sees this as an opportunity to close out his most resourceful rival early.
