On October 27, 2022, Elon Musk officially closed on his $44 billion deal to purchase Twitter. Yesterday, not even two months after taking the roll of Twitter CEO, Musk appears to be stepping down from his role of CEO. This comes following a poll conducted on Musk’s Twitter, where he would go on to the popular decision of his poll for whether he should step down as the CEO of Twitter.
After proposing a poll stating “Should I step down as head of Twitter?” Musk concluded by saying “I will abide by the results of this poll.”
Musk would go on to lose the poll that garnered over 17 million total votes by a margin of 57.5% to 42.5%.

I’m no business wizard but it seems to me that running a business based on at best ambiguous ‘polls’ is likely NOT a good strategery. That would only affect the business owner and investors. At least that isn’t likely to do damage to the Republic like it does when gubmint ‘rules’ that way.
