Manhattan DA Seeks to Limit Trump’s Access to Evidence

In a move that has sparked concerns about fairness, the Manhattan district attorney’s office has requested that Donald J. Trump’s access to certain material from his criminal case be limited to only when his lawyers are present. The prosecution has also requested that Trump be prohibited from sharing evidence on social media or through other channels.

These restrictions have been proposed in connection with an investigation into Trump’s handling of classified documents. However, many believe that this move could unfairly hamper Trump’s ability to defend himself and could set a dangerous precedent for the criminal justice system.

Reasoning behind the request

Former President Trump has been charged with 34 felony counts, including falsifying business records and illegal campaign contributions. The charges relate to a hush-money payment made to porn star Stormy Daniels, who claimed to have had an affair with Trump.

While the prosecution is entitled to restrict access to sensitive information, many legal experts believe that the proposed restrictions are excessive and could undermine Trump’s right to a fair trial. Some have accused the prosecution of trying to prevent Trump from mounting an effective defense by limiting his access to the evidence against him. Some argue that the restrictions on Trump’s use of social media and other communication channels are unconstitutional, as they could violate his right to free speech.

Implications of the request

The case against Trump is politically charged, and some believe that the prosecution is using the case to advance a partisan agenda. Trump himself has accused the prosecutor of being motivated by political animus, and has referred to the case as a “witch hunt.”

It is clear that the proposed restrictions raise serious concerns about fairness and due process. As the case continues to unfold, it will be important to ensure that Trump’s rights are protected and that the criminal justice system is allowed to function fairly and impartially, as obvious political motivations behind the case will decrease Americans faith in the justice system.

  1. “The case against Trump is politically charged, and some believe that the prosecution is using the case to advance a partisan agenda.” Well, there’s the rub. “Some believe…” This should be obvious to anyone who can fog a mirror that this is a political hit job. That the case even persists only underscores our country’s inability to call out actions that are wrong…not even a little bit correct. Here’s hoping that we come to our senses, this case is stopped and the DA, if he can be called that, loses his ability to practice law.

  2. LISTEN UP…PREZ TRUMP continues to Fight Many BATTLES. HE also gets BLAMED for Alot of Things. Remember PEOPLE saying….ITS TRUMPS FAULT. BLAME it on TRUMP. The MASTER of the UNIVERSE is in TRUMPS Corner. GOD is NOT thru with HIM yet. From SamuraiQueen aka CHIAKIA. 😄😄😄😇😇😇😉😉😉

  3. And why hasn’t the judge at this point thrown the DA in jail for being an idiot? Just how stupid and corrupt can this judge be? He should not be allowed to be a judge if they are this stupid! Or he better grant the DA the same! He can’t see it either! As this idiot DA now wants to destroy Discovery! Why not skip the entire trial? Is that next? Only Democrats are this insane! They will keep pushing till they start a civil war. Then wonder why they got shot!

  4. Right and Wrong have left the building….This Brag Ahole is kissin ass and running for president?
Truth and Justice is America not this Marxist communist insanity…..People need to pay!

  5. If there was any fairness in the New York legal system, this “case” first would have never been brought and certainly would have been dismissed with prejudice, if it were brought. This is a tragic miscarriage of justice. The Statue of Limitations has run and there is no legal predicate for the charges. Fat Alvin should be disbarred immediately for his antics along with the clearly biased judge.

    1. That is always the case with libturds like you.
Present unlawfull request then when people reject it you say “something to hide”,

  6. Whether true or false the more Trump”s name stays in the negative press the more the ignorant and the entitled people will believe this info. Remember a Lie can travel half way around the world before the truth leaves the gate
