News broke last night that Diamond from the political duo “Diamond and Silk” unexpectedly passed away last night at her home in North Carolina. Lynnette Hardaway, who went by ‘Diamond,’ a part of the Diamond and Silk duo, passed away at 51 years old. She was with her family, including her sister and other half of the famous political duo Rochelle Richardson, Silk, at the time of her unexpected passing.
Donald Trump largely helped to break the tragic news last night on his social media platform, Truth Social, posting:
“Really bad news for Republicans and frankly, ALL Americans. Our beautiful Diamond, of Diamond and Silk, has just passed away at her home in the State she loved so much, North Carolina. Silk was with her all the way, and at her passing. There was no better TEAM anywhere, or at any time! Diamond’s death was totally unexpected, probably her big and precious HEART just plain gave out. Rest In Peace our Magnificent Diamond, you will be greatly missed!”
Diamond and Silk were a duo of conservative political commentators and social media personalities, who rose to prominence during the 2016 United States presidential election for their support of Donald Trump. Their real names are Lynnette Hardaway and Rochelle Richardson. They are known for their YouTube videos and appearances on Fox News, in which they express conservative views on politics and culture. They have also been criticized for spreading misinformation and conspiracy theories, particularly on social media platforms.
The two sisters are from North Carolina, and they began their careers as independent entrepreneurs, running a cosmetics business and a hair salon before becoming political commentators. They began posting videos on YouTube in 2013, and by the time of the 2016 election, their channel had a large following. They became vocal supporters of Donald Trump and were invited to speak at a number of rallies and events during his campaign.
After Trump’s election, Diamond and Silk continued to be active on social media and in conservative politics, and they have also written a book in 2020, “Uprising: Who the Hell Said You Can’t Ditch and Switch? – The Awakening of Diamond and Silk.”
After the two doubted the CDC’s counting of COVID-19 death count, Fox News cut ties with the duo in 2020. While this move would get them suspended across social media and have their deals cut with Fox News, they gained notoriety within the conservative movement, showing that they weren’t just RINOs and media mouthpieces, and that they actually had the edge required to be taken as serious political influencers. Trump would go on to not side with Fox News, favoring Diamond and Silk in the situation, saying: “But I love Diamond & Silk, and so do millions of people!”

Following the death of Diamond, a link to a GivesEndGo.com fundraiser was put on Diamond and Silk’s official Twitter page, requested contributions for the memorial services for Diamond (Lynette Hardaway):

Their Twitter account hasn’t been posted on since, and it’s unclear with Silk will attempt to continue being a political influencer following the tragic passing of Diamond.

I am devastated to hear of Diamonds passing. Was she another victim of myocarditis from the shot? I suspect she was. She was too young to have a heart attack and was a true warrior and American patriot. She will be sorely missed. God bless her and may He give solace and protect her family.
