McDonald's Green Straws Suck for All the Wrong Reasons
Of course, the left considers these improvements to the status quo, and the U.K. significantly more progressive than the United States.
Now all of England and Ireland's 1,361 McDonald's have decided to ban plastic straws with supposedly 'eco-friendly' paper ones.
There's one problem: the paper straws can't be recycled – unlike the plastic ones they've replaced.
Apparently, they are too thick to be processed by McDonald's recyclers.
Even the mainstream media couldn't help but note the irony.
