New York Senator Kirsten Gillibrand threw her hat in the ring early. However, her previous stances on illegal immigration and guns, including an A rating from the NRA during her time as a U.S. representative in Upstate New York are raising serious charges of political opportunitism.
Moreover, Gillibrand – who made combating sexual misconduct a hallmark of her 2020 campaign – is facing distrubing allegations from her own Senate office.
