C.S. Lewis was a well-known Christian, and his Chronicles of Narnia – adapted into a major motion picture in 2005 – received high marks from conservatives and the general public-at-large.
While Lewis' series is fantasy, there are comparisons to transformative events in Christianity and explicit criticisms of atheism.
