While still red, Texas has lost its dark crimson hue since 2004.

Some of that can be attributed to the influx of out-of-state liberals to the urban centers, some to certain Republican-leaning enclaves turned off by Trump, and some to a large illegal immigrant population.

Between Austin, Houston, and the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, 1,075,000 illegals call the Lone Star State home.

Another 600,000 hide in the shadows of the suburbs and rural communities.
