2.) Sen. Doug Jones

The Alabama Democrat won a surprise upset over a scandal-plagued Republican challenger.

Political prognosticators, like Stuart Rothenberg, see Jones’ victory as a fluke in ruby red Alabama and that it doesn’t matter which Republican candidate prevails in the primary as long as it isn’t Roy Moore. 

Despite yesterday’s vote, Jones’ record defies the priorities of the average Alabamian. He’s already voted against the nomination of Justice Brett Kavanaugh and an amendment to defund Planned Parenthood.
