National Science Foundation wants to know whether or not to blame TV pundits for media polarization. So it gave Massachusetts Institute of Technology more than $400k to study the question: “Does media choice cause polarization, or does polarization cause media choice?” Somehow, liberal bureaucrats need scientists to tell them that the media divides us? How about liberals who argue that you can never, ever cut the NSF’s funding? Sounds pretty divisive to us.
