It looks like liberals have launched their own “war on women”—lobbing disgusting, sexist insults against President Trump’s new press secretary, Sarah Huckabee Sanders.
Ira Madison III, who writes for the Daily Beast, smeared Huckabee Sanders—comparing her to a drag queen. “But queen first time in drags at ball,” he wrote, sharing a picture of the new press secretary.
Madison’s comment isn’t an isolated incident: the left has repeatedly reached into the gutter for nasty things to say about Huckabee Sanders’ appearance. In May, NBC received criticism from conservative circles for “fat-shaming” Huckabee Sanders in a Saturday Night Live sketch.
Aidy Bryant, who was parading the then-deputy press press secretary, said, “My father is Mike Huckabee. My mother is a big Southern hamburger.” Bryant also portrayed Huckabee Sanders as eating throughout the sketch.
Had a conservative pundit or actor made such demeaning comments about and portrayals of a Democratic female press secretary, there would be outrage.
But, when a conservative woman like Sarah Huckabee Sanders is the target? Silence.
