(MEREDITH) – A California man who subdued a robbery suspect in a viral video could face a lawsuit for allegedly using “excessive force.”
Fresno Police said the suspect, 30-year-old Ryan Flores, attempted to rob a Starbucks in July with a knife and toy gun.
The police department later released footage of the incident, which showed customer Cregg Jerri, 58, take down the suspect.
In the video, Jerri picks up a chair and hits Flores before the two start fighting.
