NEW ORLEANS, La —A candidate for the mayoral race in New Orleans faces a misdemeanor charge of lewd conduct in California for an alleged incident that occurred during an Uber ride in February.
Frank Scurlock says he remembers sleeping during an Uber ride and sometime later he woke up and was asked to leave which he did.
He says he already has an attorney and plans to fight the charge.
