According to the Board of Elections, infamous cop-killer, Herman Bell, voted in New York’s Democratic primary for governor – thanks to the efforts of Gov. Andrew Cuomo.
The New York Post reports:
It’s not known whom Bell voted for — but records show his election district went with Cuomo by a better than 2-to-1 margin.
Bell filed an absentee ballot on Sept. 12, the day before the primary.
He was able to do so because Cuomo issued an executive order in April providing conditional pardons that restored voting rights to 25,000 parolees.
Bell, 70, was released from Shawangunk Correctional Facility April 27 after being sprung by the state parole board. Records show he registered to vote by mail July 19, from a Bedford-Stuyvesant address, as a Democrat.
Bell ambushed and killed NYPD Officers Joseph Piagentini and Waverly Jones in May 1971.
