Former President Barack Obama issued a new statement on social media in which he claimed that it was time for America to ‘reimagine’ policing and public safety in the wake of the recent police-involved shooting of a black man in Minnesota.
His call comes in the wake of other Democrats, such as radical Rep. Rashida Tlaib, calling for the complete abolition of all police in the United States.
Our hearts are heavy over yet another shooting of a Black man, Daunte Wright, at the hands of police. What exactly a ‘reimagining’ of the police in America would consist of remains unclear, but judging from the massive spike in crime many blue cities have recently experienced as they have attempted to ‘reform’ policing in the wake of the death of George Floyd it likely won’t be good news for law-abiding citizens.

We just had a Spanish New Mexico State Police Officer killed at a traffic stop by a Latino thug going to a drug deal. NOT ONE WORD WAS SAID ABOUT THAT BY THESE ASS HOLES IN D.C. Let’s reimagine that when you are stopped by the police and they make requests, you comply. I guarantee that will significantly reduce the number of people injured by the police if not totally eliminate them. I do not recall any incidents being reported by anyone that has complied with the directions by the police.
I’ve been stopped before and everything turned out ok. Once I was stopped by two cops that were total assholes and I kept my mouth shut and complied. All I got was a warning. The offense was having a bad light bulb over my license plate I was even threatened with arrest. But I realize that the majority of cops are good people.
