Billionaire Jeffrey Epstein gave Schumer seven $1,000 donations during his time in the House of Representatives. For his first Senate campaign in 1998, Schumer received $10,000 from Epstein.
That same year, Epstein donated $5,000 to a Schumer-associated political action committee to propel progressive candidates up and down the ballot to victory.
All told, Schumer and his associated entities received $22,000 from Epstein.
Yesterday, the Senate Minority Leader’s office told the Washington Examiner that Schumer would donate “an equal sum to anti-sex trafficking and anti-violence against women groups.”
