Marion Marechal-Le Pen, grand daughter of French nationalist Jean-Marie Le Pen, has announced that she will join the French Army reserve. She is currently a local councilor in the Provence-Riviera region, one of the most conservative and nationalist areas of France.

The Le Pen family have been at the head of the French National Front for several decades now, defeating socialists in the first electoral round in 2002. Since then, the National Front has been steadily growing in popularity among native French people, especially with the recent refugee invasion and the numerous terrorist acts perpetrated by Muslim immigrants. The 2017 Presidential election is moving ever more in the favor of right wing parties, especially the FN.
France has been on edge since the latest terrorist attack where an elderly priest had his throat slit by a Muslim terrorist while he was performing mass. Rumors of increased military presence and even martial law are been floated in the French Parliament by the North American Representative.
Après Nice je réitère ma demande d’application de l’article 36 plutôt que le prolongement de l’état d’urgence !https://t.co/nF8YhvqlHY
