Even MSNBC is finally turning on Michael Wolff, author of the controversial anti-Trump book "Fire and Fury."

While promoting his book on Morning Joe, co-host Mika Brzezinski, who herself has had heated exchanges on social media with the president, abruptly kicked Wolff off the set, following a tense exchange about Wolff's completely-unproven insinuations that UN Ambassador Nikki Haley had an affair with President Trump.

Calling into question the "entire credibility of [Wolff's] book," Brzezinski asked about comments Wolff made during a recent interview with Bill Maher. On Maher's show, Wolff urged readers to read "between the lines" to see who Trump was allegedly having an affair with – and pointed the audience to an excerpt that discussed Haley's private meetings with Trump.

Haley forcefully and unequivocally denied the unfounded claims.

Brzezinski asked, "Do you regret inferring anything about Nikki Haley?"

"I didn't infer anything about Nikki Haley," said Wolff. "What I inferred is that... many of the people around the President believe he is still involved with various women."

"You might be having a fun time playing a little game dancing around this, but you’re slurring a woman," countered Brzezinski. "It’s disgraceful.”

"Mika, again, she has been accused of nothing," replied Wolff. "She has decided to deny what she has not been accused of. Certainly, I didn't accuse her of."

“Come on, are you kidding? You’re on the set of Morning Joe. We don’t BS here.”

Wolff continued to protest – but Brzezinski had finally had it with his answers, choosing to end the segment and go to commercial abruptly.

“I’m sorry, this is awkward, you’re here on the set with us, but we’re done. Michael Wolff, thank you," Brzezinski said. “We’re gonna go to break now. Bye, everyone."

After he Brzezinski booted him off the show, Wolff launched into a tirade on social media, writing, "My bad, the President is right about Mika," referring to Trump and Brzezinski's past feud.
