Illegal Alien Gangbangers are Taking Over this Metro Area

Illegal alien gangs are terrorizing the Maryland suburbs of Washington D.C.:

Four of five suspects arrested in a Washington-area MS-13 gangland slaying are in the United States illegally, the latest example of the resurgence of the Latino gang known for recruiting new members from Mexico and other Central American nations.

According to police and news reports, three of the five charged in the murder of New Jersey resident Jordy Mejia, 22, are in the country illegally. Another has a federal immigration detainer lodged against him, a clear sign authorities want to deport him.

The case is out of Montgomery County, Md., which is a designated "sanctuary," according to the Center for Immigration Studies. That essentially means that the county does not turn over criminal illegals to federal officials even when asked.

However, a judge in the case has ordered the five held without bond due to concerns that since most are in the United States illegally, they will flee back home.

And here's back in May, in Northern Virginia:

A jury on Monday convicted six MS-13 gang members in connection with three brutal murders and an attempted murder in Northern Virginia, delivering an across-the-board verdict in a sweeping federal case against the violent street gang.

After less than two full days of deliberations, jurors found that the gang members played various roles in the stabbing and dismembering of two men, the fatal shooting of another, and a failed plot to kill a fellow gang member.

The verdict is a victory for prosecutors, who initially charged 13 people, all of them members of a clique known as the Park View Locos Salvatruchas, under a law once used to fight the Mafia. Six defendants pleaded guilty before trial and testified against the others. One defendant is being tried separately.

“Extreme violence is the hallmark of MS-13, and these horrific crimes represent exactly what the gang stands for,” U.S. Attorney Dana J. Boente of the Eastern District of Virginia said in a statement.

According to the Daily Caller, Fairfax, VA  noted a 163 percent increase in MS-13 crimes in 2016. That number is totally unacceptable. It's also not surprising. Under Barack Obama, the federal government has failed to carry out nearly a million ordered deportations. Included in that mix are over 170,000 criminals.

It is absolutely imperative that President elect Donald Trump focus on immigration, but first, we need to find a way to enforce the laws that are already on the books. We can't expect successful reform if we can't even manage the inadequate system we have. A law that can't be enforced is essentially meaningless.

Where do we start? It starts with putting American security ahead of the interests of businesses and opportunistic politicians. A wall would be good, but it's more complicated than that. The Federation for American Immigration Reform has a solid blueprint. Check it out.
