Headless Carcass Left on Front Porch of Senior Trump Official
DHS Acting Deputy Secretary Claire Grady issued the warning in a letter to employees on Saturday, spurred by the incident at the senior official’s home in Washington, D.C., reported ABC News.
The “heightened threat against DHS employees,” as Grady described it, comes amid public protests against family detention and other immigration policies under the administration of President Donald Trump.
Protesters have chased Secretary of Homeland Security Kirstjen Nielsen out of a Mexican restaurant. A restaurant owner asked White House Press Secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders to leave The Red Hen restaurant in Lexington, Virginia, over a disagreement with the Trump administration’s policies. An Antifa-linked Twitter account doxxed several Immigration and Customs Enforcement officers by revealing their names, addresses, photographs and spouses.
Meanwhile, California Democratic Rep. Maxine Waters encouraged protesters to harass anyone connected with the Trump administration’s immigration policy on Saturday.
