It’s official: Geraldo Rivera has concluded that Donald Trump is a racist.
If the reporter-turned cable news star has left the president for good, it’s unclear how much longer Fox’s viewers will put up with him. (Hot Air)
For some who defended Mr. Trump against charges of racism in the past, this was a turning point. “As much as I have denied it and averted my eyes from it, this latest incident made it impossible,” Geraldo Rivera, a roaming correspondent at large for Fox News and longtime friend, said in an interview.
“My friendship with the president has cost me friendships, it has cost me schisms in the family, my wife and I are constantly at odds about the president,” he added. “I do insist that he’s been treated unfairly. But the unmistakable words, the literal words he said, is an indication that the critics were much more right than I.”
Rivera isn’t the only former Trump confidant to accuse the president of racism this week:
Would @realDonaldTrump ever tell a white immigrant – whether 1st, 2nd, 3rd or 4th+ generation – to “go back to your country”? No. That’s why the comments were racist and unacceptable.

Geraldo Rivera has always been an opportunist wishy-washy reporter. He has also been a GRAND STANDER when over seas reporting the news. He has posed next to tanks and other war scenes trying to manipulate the picture to look like he was “in the shit” as we used to say in Vietnam. Well, he wasn’t. He crawled around in an Afghan cave in 2002 holding a .45 Caliber pistol with Hollywood mud smears (when an actor smears dirt or blood on parts of their face to APPEAR like they were dirty, bloody and sweaty, with two-finger streaks here and there). In the cave he tried to sound macho stating “I’m gonna personally shoot that sonofabitch (Bin Laden). He’s supposed to be a news reporter, not in a battle like Joe Galloway, a real fighting reporter (battle of LZ Xray, Ia Drang, Vietnam), who fought for his life.
Rivera has a long history as a ‘bull shitter’! He changes sides and opinions like a flag blowing in different directions.

First of all, I have problems with someone whose vested interest is in getting people to believe we need them for our well being, NO MATTER WHICH SIDE OF THE AISLE. The technical term for that is codependence, and is a serious problem.
Second, i do not care where his clothing line comes from until we go to war wearing TRUMP suits. I think our drug sourcing is a bit more important.
Third, what are your sources for the allegations? They are completely new to me. Somehow, I think the democrats would have weaved the allegations into the coup attempt if they could have.
Fourth, being a phony is what politicians do.
Fifth, any possible misuse of a charity pales in comparison to what that family from Arkansas has pulled off.

Harris Faulkner is one of my favorites. She is intelligent, composed and handles lefties very well. I think that her experiences being raised as the daughter of an Army Colonel broadened her world view and made her more understanding of other people. I was raised by an Air Force Father myself.
