Twenty-three retired Republican senators and representatives are petitioning current GOP members of Congress to oppose President Donald Trump's declaration of a national emergency, which is being used the fund construction of the border wall.

Their push is significant because the vote for a joint resolution to stop the president's national emergency declaration is scheduled for tomorrow.
