Desperate Failure Nancy Pelosi Throws Sad, Empty Threats at GOP Majority
Nancy, "we have to pass the bill to find out what's in it" Pelosi is now threatening Republicans. It looks something like this:
Anyway, what's she hoarsely prattling on about? The fact that thanks to her radical legislative history, Republicans now have a majority capable of dismantling Obamacare. Via the Hill:
House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) said Monday that the ball is in the GOP's court when it comes to replacing ObamaCare, according to reports.
Pelosi didn’t necessarily rule out working with the GOP on replacing President Obama’s signature domestic policy achievement after it is repealed, but said the responsibility to do so will ultimately fall in their lap.
"The ball is in their court," Pelosi said during a Democratic conference call on Monday, according to ABC’s Rick Klein. "You break it, you own it."
Pelosi should know. Thanks to her, American healthcare is more expensive than ever before, and insurers are fleeing markets becuase the stone age economics behind Obamacare make it impossible to turn a profit. As a result, Democrats have less power across the board than ever before.
"Repeal and delay" is also a terrible farce that's been repeated by Pelosi and others ad nauseam to perpetuate the false narrative that Republicans have no real plan to replace Obamacare. Republicans have several plans to replace Obamacare. Settling on one that works is the thing, and it's likely to be precarious, but the fact of the matter is the American people have spoken, time and again, and they've rejected Pelosi's favorite healthcare plan.
