It looks like CNN’s token “Republican” pundit, Ana Navarro, is anything but.

According to an investigation by news site LifeZette, Navarro has donated a whopping $18,000 to Democratic candidates since 1997.

That includes $1,000 to far-left Congresswoman Debbie Wassermann Schultz—who was the head of the Democratic Party until she resigned in disgrace last summer.

Navarro also donated to New Jersey Senator Bob Menendez in 2006, and even organized three fundraisers for him—in a neck-and-neck election that helped determine control of the Senate. In part because of Menendez’s unexpected victory in 2006, Republicans would lose control of the Senate to the Democrats.

In addition, Navarro donated $2,000 to two political action committees: one called, quite succinctly, “Democrats Win Seats” and another leftwing one called, “Help Elect America’s Team.”

Navarro responded to the charges by largely dismissing them: “So? Like many Miami R's, I gave to some D's who bucked Party, stood vs Ortega & Castros. Freedom over partisanship.”
