Editor's Note: Earlier this week we discussed the abject disdain many on the left have for Chelsea Clinton. It seems like the general public feels just the same...

Chelsea Clinton’s latest book has flopped so badly that even Chelsea herself can’t be bothered to talk about it.

The new book, Governing Global Health: Who Runs the World and Why?, was released on February 9, and seems to highlight her work at the Clinton Foundation, which focused on global health. The book was co-written by Devi Sridhar, a professor at the University of Edinburgh.

The book may have fared better if Hillary Clinton had been elected President—but instead, it was a commercial disaster. As of Thursday, it ranks a lowly 19,054 on Amazon’s Bestsellers List—and has sold less than 3,000 copies.

Even among the few people who have bought her book, 88% of Amazon customers ranked the book as just 1 star out of 5, the lowest possible rank.

One of the top reviewers calls Clinton’s book “as superficial and boring as its author.” Another reviewer, who identified as a Democrat, made it through just 25 pages—before commenting, “Holy hell, that was horrible.”

Even one of the few 5 star reviews seemed to be in jest—suggesting Chelsea’s book as a gift to someone you hate, claiming it’s “better than pepper spray” for repelling unwanted people.

Perhaps because of the horrendous reviews, Chelsea Clinton has done little to promote the book, aside from a handful of tweets.

Chelsea is going on another book tour, starting in April, for a children’s book she wrote, called It’s Your World. She conspicuously has not yet announced a book tour for Governing Global Health.
