Prager University is a non-profit organization that produces conservative educational videos targeted towards young people. The videos are unquestionably family-friendly but were flagged by YouTube as not being suitable for all audiences. This designation has prompted Prager U to file a lawsuit against the tech giant.

Vox Media, a liberal outlet, churns out videos in the same format but with a progressive bent. Their videos are not censored.

For example, Vox recently made a video called “The Rise of ISIS” and Prager U made a video called “What ISIS Wants.” Both chronicled the rise of ISIS and but only one was deemed unsuitable for younger audiences.

Prager U’s video was restricted, meaning it wasn’t able to be seen in schools and public libraries, both of which restrict content to what is “family-friendly.”
