Scott is well known in the House's Democratic caucus for allegedly unrelenting sexual harassment.

In December 2017 a former aide to the congressman accused him of misconduct, saying he fired her in retaliation for rebuffing his sexual advances.

Those claims including unwanted grouping.

Despite calls for the House to launch an Ethics Committee investigation and Scott to resign, the Virginia lawmaker did neither.

In the end, he successfully ignored the disturbing accusations by virtue of running in a Democrat district so blue that Republicans didn't even bother putting forth a candidate.

Meanwhile, no Republican congressional candidates with allegations against them won last night.
