2.) How They Get Advertisers to Leave
Center-left journalist Tim Pool reported on a set of leaked emails he received that show journalists getting companies to abandon individual personalities. A Slate journalist emailed Chase Bank asking why their services were being used by a right-wing group online, and why they supported this group. These leading questions were confirmed by Chase Bank when Tim Pool questioned them about the legitimacy of the leaked email. Pool went on to explain that this was an industry technique used by activists masquerading as journalists.
