2.) Debt-Free College

We have a national debt approaching $22 trillion, and that's not including unfunded liabilities.

At a time when we can't afford the entitlements we already have, the far-left wants to create brand new ones, with one widely agreed upon plank making college debt-free.

While the cost of college is indeed alarming and a consequence of student debt, it is still an excellent investment considering college graduates on average make up to $1 million more than high school graduates during their lifetime.

Moreover, the government would force taxpayers, many of whom do not reap the $1 million reward (see above) to subsidize it.

In fact, government "assistance" has caused the cost of college to skyrocket. With in-need students often being subsidized, colleges can precipitously raise their prices without many students being the wiser.

As Milton Friedman once said, "Nobody spends somebody else's money as wisely as he spends his own."
